Gobbles

My finishing touches on this redo went very wrong, a main issue when working with pen and attempting to erase once too far along. The eraser badly damaged the page and made the surface unworkable... I attempted to improvise, but the quality of shading and line work was Very sloppy. So I decided instead of tearing the page in frustration to poke fun at the situation. Here is Gobbles the fault fixer, makes all of your mistakes go away. Or covers them up poorly.

DebSonTroy

Well this is the brother of the other Lacross player that I completed, and I like it, but am not really satisfied with it. I'm redoing another rendition of it for my own pride... I would rather die broke with pride than rich with shame. Really, why not, every one is good practice.

Deb's Son

One of my full body portraits completed in November of 2010... -Pen, Pencil and Colored pencils.

Another Customer piece..

I made the head a little bit larger to make room for detail and importance. I really like the way that this one turned out, but I still want to get better with color realism.

Dirty Sponge

SpongeBob is cartoon incarnate, and I had to add him in my sketches.

Tree Man

A picture that I did for my buddy last January, 2010. Me after a few drinks with an ent, Really bad night but left me with some pretty wicked moss chest hair. JK. The colors kind of hurt my eyes.

Bashful Bambi

More Skecthes from school, these ones from late 2008... I did them in Class during a Disney lecture and like them alot. Lol, from a how to draw Disney book. I used the final draft image for reference, and figured I'd keep the rough look as with most of my work.

Wolva...

Who ever can this be, Hmmmm. Logan. Not special, but creepy just like me.

Pats Ports

My Most recent protrait done in pen, pencil and colored pencils... November 18th, 2010. Completed for a customer.

For the most part I'm happy with this one, but I definitely think that there could be improvement. The rendition of the girl is a bit aged, and is the weak point of this portrait. For every mistake we can learn, and I still posted this because there are certainly strong elements and passion here. Scans don't always do pencil portraits a justice.

Butt Week

A Cartoon I put together from more sketches found in March of 2009.

Ham Platter

Just a sketch I found from March 2009, and I figured I'd add a little text to it. Art gets stale if you can't act a little goofy sometimes.

CrazyMe

Just a portrait that I did before class in September of 2009. I like it alot. With some carricature exagerations its not perfect but has alot of character. Sometimes a good pencil portrait is alot of fun, much easier not having to blend colored pencils.
